LESSON 9: Communicating with Families About KRA Results
After you conduct the KRA, you will be able to view an Individual Student Report (ISR) that you will then share with a student's family. Families are, of course, a tremendous resource because - especially with very young children - they are most certainly the people who have the greatest impact on a child. Ultimately you want to share the assessment information with families so you can partner with them in promoting a child's development - offering families ideas about how they can help their children at home only increases the chances that those children will be exactly where they need to be by the end of the kindergarten year.
Watch the video to learn more about sharing KRA results with families.
TIP
Families play a critical role in a child's success in school. The KRA helps you generate a user-friendly report that you will share with families so that everyone is on the same page and working toward the same goals.
